8th Grade ELA

8th Grade ELA consists of Reading, Grammar, Writing, Listening and Speaking. This year students will learn about a variety of literary genres. Students will also reinforce their writing skills by using various writing styles such as narratives, persuasive essays, expository pieces, and a research paper. Students will also receive daily lessons in grammar and vocabulary.
